Photos of immigrants are all too common in the news today. What is the answer to give these people the safe and supportive homes they need? Wish I knew. While researching migration, I discovered Jacob Lawrence's primal paintings on the migration of African Americans from the South to the North in the 1930s. His shapes influenced "Migration 2," which was juried into "Pathfinders" at the Southern Utah Museum of Art in Cedar City in 2017. It is SOLD.
