"Wally" based on a simple Inuit drawing, is an exercise in layering darks and lights. It was great fun to paint color here and there on the commercial fabrics and then sew on bits of fabric, sequins, beads, and special buttons from Tucson. His wool mustache is modeled on that of a good friend. "Wally" was part of an invitational show at Visions Art Museum in San Diego.
