What Do We Become Without Truth?
Shortly after the 2016 election I became more and more aware of rumors and outright lies being spread by authoritative mouths as absolute factual truth. This scared the heck out of me, and still does. What happened to Walter Cronkite and Bill Moyers and others whom I trusted implicitly? The world is far too complicated and its people too vulnerable to have no trustworthy place to seek reality and consensus. This piece grew out of that fear.
